The Library University of Suriname is contributing materials to the Digital Library of the Caribbean project from their Thesis Collection.

The University Library has the largest accessible collection on cultural heritage of Suriname and has a history of 45 years and started the thesis collection in 1970 as part of the Suriname collection. The Electronic Thesis Collection began in 2012 in conjunction with the Institute of Graduate Studies and Research and the faculties of Social Sciences, Medicine and Technological Science.

With support from the dLOC Seed Grant Program, the University Library will begin to digitize the historical theses which date from 1968 and make all thesis from the University of Suriname available in dLOC and in the library online public access catalog.

De Bibliotheek Universiteit van Suriname levert een bijdrage aan dLOC door het beschikbaar stellen van de afstudeerscripties van de Universiteit van Suriname.

De Universiteitsbibliotheek bestaat 45 jaar en heeft een grote collectie documenten met betrekking tot cultureel erfgoed van Suriname; in 1970 begon de thesis collectie als deel van de Suriname collectie.

De digitale thesis collectie begon in 2012 in samenwerking met het Institute of Graduate Studies and Research, de faculteiten Maatschappijwetenschappen, Medische Wetenschappen en Technologische Wetenschappen. Met steun van het dLOC Seed Grant Program is de Universiteitsbibliotheek in staat de afstudeerscripties vanaf 1970 te digitaliseren en online beschikbaar te stellen in zowel dLOC als in haar Online Publieks Catalogus.
