The Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra (PUCMM), together with the Digital Library of the Caribbean (dLOC), contributes to the development of this important project to fulfill the mission of conserving and providing access to the PUCMM collection and to make available the resources in full text for text searching and exploration, specifically for students, faculty, researchers and professions interested in promoting, fomenting and diffusing knowledge; and furthermore to contribute to the education sector facilitating resources and digital materials to improve teaching and learning.

Objectives

• Develop a digital collection that ensures the conservation, preservation and distribution of PUCMM Library Special Collections
• To be an access point for all the Special Collections documents that are of interest, special value and limited access
• To be a vehicle for learning and training with the goal of making known our rich collection

The PUCMM Library System is providing materials to the Digital Library of the Caribbean from its rich special collections the PUCMM conserves.
