Title: Hospitalized 2 year old Lori Valenti discovers that food tastes better when she is abled to feed herself. Lori, a patient in the Shands Teaching Hospital was one of the subjects in a study conducted by Phyllis Tilghman, Senior nursing student in the UF College of Nursing to determine whether a hospitalized toddler would choose to be fed by a nurse rather that feed himself. The study showed that children who are very ill will not eat unless fed by somebody else.
