The 'Rostefari' are a Jcamican sect whose doctrines of
social rejection postulEte a promised land in Africa where their
earthly deliverer and leader Haile Sellassie lives.


The music owes much tc Africa, but the total sound of the
group is wholly indigenous the comb-nation of a driving pulse and
a profound emotional conviction that Lheir music speaks truly for
them.


Their programme tonight includes selections from their
three volume album 'Gronmation'.
