THE GENERAL COMES HOME-General James A. Van Fleet

AUTOGRAPH HUNTERS-The General stops to give his auto-
graph to two attractive young ladies. Mrs. Van Fleet is seated beside
the General and Mayor Bohannon is in the front seat. They were
whisked from the airport to President J. Hillis Miller's home. Greeting
the General was. the first official act of newly elected Mayor Bohan-
non.
AT THE MILLER HOME-At the new residence of University
President and Mrs. Miller, the General (right) poses with Mayor Bo-
hannon (left), Mrs. Van Fleet and Mrs. Miller. The General went
directly to the morning convocation, the second in a series of three.
The General will make the principal address of the Centennial at to-
