PUBLIC RESTROOMS: Masonry Construction, flat built-up roof. Erected by Board in 1969.

Description: This is a stuccoed concrete-block, masonry structure with a built-up flat roof concealed behind coquina walls. The interior
is floored with ceramic tile. This facility provides rest room facilities for St. George Street visitors.

Acquired By: Purchase

Deed Restrictions: None Known.

Mechanical: None
Wiring: Adequate
Plumbing: Needs Replacement.

Maintenance Needs: Flat roof needs replacing in near future.

Life Safety Issues: None

ADA Compliance Status: Funds approved for FY 93/94 to bring into compliance. Not in compliance.

Condition: The structure and roof are in good condition. The electrical service is adequate for the facility's current use. The plumbing needs replacement.
The facility does not comply with ADA standards. It should be expanded to meet increased visitor load. There is adequate room to the rear to accomplish this.

Estimated Cost To Meet City Standard: Plumbing $7,500. ADA compliance requirements $14,000. These estimates do not include expansion of the facility.

Present Use: Public Restrooms.

Considerations: Efforts should be made by this agency to have this facility open during the evening hours, when the merchants in immediate area are operating during the evening.
