Principles Arrivas House Restoration
1. Remove no original parts reasonably identifiable as part
of the house's evolution during the Spanish periods.
2. Weigh carefully removal of any parts identifiable as
from the pr--Civil War American period.
3. Leave every original element in position unless
irremediable structural deficiencies will result.
4. All elements added shall be of the earliest period
which will reasonably accommodate themselves to
the part of the structures to which they are added,
i.e. no further "1820" elements.
5-. he predominate resulting atmosphere shall be of
the twenty years following Spanish reocoupation.
