Trade Union, (OWTU) to call

SAN FERNANDO:
SUDDEN DEATH of Prime Minister, Dr. Eric Williams, has caused Oilfields Workers' Trade
Union (OVVTU), to call off its planned demonstration, which was rescheduled Today in front
of Parliament.
Mr. George Weekes, president general, said the union would meet shortly to decide further
action on the matter.
The union had planned calling out all workers from the various industries, where the union
represented the workers, to join in a one-day solidarity for the 425 hourly-rated, weekly-
