Dear Mr. Nadler:
In regard to the opening of bids for the above referenced project,
we would like to recommend that you award the base bid in the
amount of $40,869.60 to Clay Stratton Contractors and do not take
either Alternate Deduct #1 or Alternate Deduct #2.
This recommendation comes with the understanding that all appro-
priate paperwork and prequalification has been submitted to the
Department of General Services by Mr. Stratton's company. We are
very pleased with the bid and are confident that Mr. Stratton can
perform the work satisfactorily.
