Dear Mr. Newton:
Thank you for your letter of April 25 in which
you outline the problems of the St. Augustine Restora-
tion Committee and their need for obtaining the federal
building in which the post office at St. Augustine is
now located.
As I promised when you were in my office, I have
initiated an investigation to determine whether or not
it is feasible for us to vacate the space we now oc-
cupy in that building -- if possible, prior to 1965.
As the investigation proceeds, I will inform you
of the details.
