Mr. Mellen C. Greeley
6457 Pottsburg Drive
Jacksonville, Florida 32211

Dear Mr. Greeley:

It was indeed a pleasure hearing from you the other day via your letter \
of August 23. 1968; and may I say that there is no need for your great
embarrassment concerning your recollection to what happened with the \
lower floor walls of Government House. After all, sir, this was some
30 years ago and I am sure that few people can remember minute details
that far back.

Enclosed you will please find a copy of Inventory of Materials Received
from General Services Administration on August 5, 1968, regarding
Government House. These items came to us from General Services Ad-
ministration in Atlanta, Ga., and will prove very valuable to us in
determining the extent of the renovation and additions in the middle 30's.
I still would be interested in the materials that Mr. X. Pellicer has which
you had loaned to him and would appreciate your letting me know when
they have been returned.

I will be happy to, and most assuredly will, call upon you for your personal
assistance when we get deeper involved in the documentary research.

Thanking you kindly for your letter and hoping to visit with you again per-
sonally in the near future.

Cordially yours,

Bradley G. Brewer
