Dear Fred:
Your Special Delivery letter was received this morning.
I had planned to send over by Mrs. Moulds, the bearer of this letter,
some information regarding the Liambias House.
I am disappointed that Stuart Barnette did not come down and be here
this week, as previously planned. If he had come, we would have arranged
some special program at the Llambias House and endeavored to make arrangements
to have a large group of historians come over. However, this could not be ar-
ranged.
The Llambias House is nearing completion. Some windows have to be
installed and some of the inside work has to be done, however, it is 90% com-
pleted and is going to be most interesting and attractive. Stuart amrnette is
now making plans for the proper landscaping and sidewalks in the garden, which
work will be done sometime later possibly by the Historical Society, as we are
just about running out of the funds we allotted for this particular work.
There is enclosed herewith a copy of a report made by the accountant as
of June 30th, showing that we had spent around $24,000.00 up to that date on
the Llambias House and all its phases. Since that time we have spent another
$5000.00 approximately.
I am not in position to detail the story of the work done on the Llambias
House, however, the memorandum sent down by Stuart Barnette should give this
information. I think you have a copy, however, I am enclosing another in case
you do not have it with you.
I am also asking Als.Wdadtd to give you some information that has been
collected by our historian, regarding the history of the Llambias House.
