Dear PrFed
Thank you for your letter of November 21st. I
shall read it to the Trustees when we meet, which
I hope will be soon,
I think Mr. Bickel would make a splendid member
of the Board of Trustees.
With assurance of my very kind regards,
Sincerely yours,

This is to give you a record that I approve
of the plan you outlined in your letter of November 9
to make arrangements with Mr. Wiggins for occupying the
Llambias House.
Also, when you have a meeting of the Llambias
House Trustees I suggest you consider electtig to the
vacancy caused by the passing of 1r. 4e4i Mr. Karl A.
Bickel of Sarasota. From his sketch in Who's Who in
America yobu will note that he was former president of the
United Press, is author of Mangrove Coast, an account of
the West Coast of Flotida, and you will recall that he
served as President of the Florida Historical Society when
you, he, and I were endeavoring to arrange for that organization
to occupy the Llambias House. I have talked with him at great
length about St. ^ugustine and know that he is genuinely
interested. He has wealth and influence and time and would
therefore in my judgment be an ideal mo-worker with us.
Since ely you
