SUBJECT: Bridge Street excavation



Yesterday Mr. Kenneth Dow called to apprise us of some sub-surface
excavation taking place at the northeast corner of Bridge and Cordova
Streets. When I arrived a section of paving 138 cm. x 40 cm. had been
removed by the Southern Bell Telephone Company. Approximately two feet
of fill had been removed which exposed a section of large coquina block.
Since there was no camera available, I was unable to take a record shot.

The area of excavation lies approximately 570 cm. south of the
fire hydrant at Block 37 Lot 9.
