Dear Joyce:
I received the results of your research and I want to thank
you again for taking the time to do such a fine job for us. I have one
more favor to ask. Do you think you could find the names of the
parents of Miss Louisa's Godchildren? We would like to try and track
down some information through them. Also, could you look a little
further to try and track down an account of Miss Louisa's death?
We understand that the Jacksonville papers of that time are on micro-
film at the University of Florida. Could you check with the University
and see if her death is not written up there?
I was interested to learn that the house served as head-
quarters for the Galleon Society and contained artists' studios at one
time. I was also fascinated with the account of Louis. His life sheds
a great deal of light on the times.
Once again our thanks for your efforts. Please let us hear
if you find the names of the parents and if the University microfilms
turn up anything.
Thank you again for your wonderful help.
Fondly,
Margaret M. Corse
