Mr. Bradley Brewer, Director
Historic St. Augustine Preservation Board

St. Augustine, Florida 32084
Dear Mr. Brewer:
I am Chairman of the Society's
Committee undertaking an historical study
of the Ximenez-Fatio House in St. Augustine.
We realize that to achieve the best results
in our work we very much need professional
help.
The St. Augustine Historial Society
is very generously assisting our research up
to 1855. Since we want our investigation to
cover the entire history of the house, we are
now looking for some source of help for the
period beginning with 1855.
Mr. Harris, of the Historical Society,
has suggested that your Preservation Board
might be able to help us in this portion of
our project and indicated that your Miss Harmon
TIle National SorietU of
3IPhe Colonial anmes of Atmerica
in Die State of f3[loriba
was eminently qualified to do so. The purpose
of my letter therefore is to hopefully request
that your Board can give us this much needed
help and authorize Miss Harmon to work with my
Committee.
I will greatly appreciate hearing
from you at your early convenience and we do
so hope that your answer will be favorable.
Sincerely,
Anne F. Freeman
(Mrs. Judson Freeman)
