Re: Medical Museum
Dear Mr. Bently,
I was pleased to have Mrs. Harrison, our state F.MA. Auxiliary
Chairman, attend our meeting yesterday. It was encouraging to
know they are eager to furnish money for the Medical Museum
Project.
I would, however, like to establish some guidelines before we
commit ourselves to this project, since it is an ongoing project
as listed in our state F,.MA. Yearbook. This must be decided on
first at a general meeting, If the project has enough support
and enthusiasm from the group, then we shall proceed to get ap-
proval from our medical society. We have not done this yet and
we must do so, I do not feel this will be a problem since they
initiated it to begin with. If we get this support and approval,
then I feel we should proceed from there.
Perhaps a meeting with Mr. Bentley and staff, Mrs. Hopkins and
committee, the medical society chairman and myself is in order.
We can hope to establish some guidelines as to what they expect
from this project. As it stands now, we have no clear guidelines
established as far as our goals, amount of people needed to do
the project or the expense involved, etc.
I am pleased we are interested in the medical museum and thank-
ful to Mrs. Hopkins for getting the ball rolling.
Very sincerely,
Michele Barranda
