Dear Dr. Calkin:
We are very distressed to learn that the History of Medicine Museum
in St. Augustine has been closed down.
As you are aware, the Florida Medical Association, Auxiliary and the
Florida Medical Foundation have spent a great deal-of time, effort
and money in the establishment of this museum.
I trust that the Historic Preservation Board will pursue all alter-
natives before dismantling this museum.
Thank you in advance for consideration of this request.
Sincerely,
W. Harold Parham, D.H.A.
