MEMORANDUM

DATE: December 20,'1991

TO: Jim Skurka

FROM: Tracy Spikes/,

SUBJECT: Bob Hawk's Military Hospital report to the HSAPB.

I am concerned with one aspect of the report that deals with the
inventory of collections at the hospital. It states that there
are certain items in the Military Hospital that should not be
removed without prior permission from the Florida National Guard.
I am not aware of these items, and find no records concerning
items on loan directly or indirectly from the Florida National
Guard.

However, in order to have a complete accounting, and as the State
requires an annual inventory of the collection, I would suggest
we begin a complete review and inventory of all materials
associated with the Military Hospital. I would further suggest
enlisting the aid of Dempsey Corbett, who has been close to the
project since its opening, and Bruce Piatek, who is familiar with
many of the collection activities that occurred before its
opening.

In lieu of the holiday schedules, I recommend we begin the
inventory January 13, 1992.

Upon completion, I would like to continue the inventory process
in our other buildings.
