I must apologize to you for not replying to your letter of October
25th on the above. The letter had been filed by mistake.

It is correct that the exhibits in the Heritage House were installed
with the Preservation Board's approval but that does not negate paragraph
15 of the signed lease which requires Mr. Kramer to return the property
in the same state of repair as existed at the beginning of the lease.

With respect to Mr. Hunter, as you know, he is not and has never
been empowered to speak for the Board/Foundation in matters of this nature
and he certainly cannot negate a signed lease agreement. If Mr. Kramer
had some questions, he should have contacted the office.

If you will kindly specify for us what changes were made by Mr.
Kramer on orders from the State Fire Marshall, we will then issue a
revised list of repair costs for which the Foundation should be reimbursed.
