O 3 Board
April 30, 1976
Honorable Joseph P. Cresse, Director
Division of Budget
Department of Administration
Room 530, Carlton Building
Tallahassee, Florida 32304
Dear Mr. Cresse:
It is requested that the following change be authorized for the appropriation
and release that was authorized in your letter of March 8, 1976.
Account and Code
Operating Trust Fund (2-455-0500):
Other Personal Services (2-455-0503-1) 3,000
Operating Capital Outlay (2-455-0506-1) (3,000)
The reason for this change is to permit the hiring of day laborers, carpenters,
and painters to complete the landscaping, fencing, and painting (interior and
exterior) of the Joaneda House, a restoration project of this agency. This
action is necessary to meet the deadline set for completion. Originally,
contractors were expected to complete these jobs, but problems with architec-
tural specifications and bidding requirements precluded meeting the deadline
set for the project.
In the best interests of obtaining the highest quality work at the lowest cost,
the project supervisor has recommended that day labor craftsmen be obtained to
complete the project.
Your cooperation in this matter is appreciated.
Sincerely yours,
Overton G. Ganong
Acting Director
