Dear Mr. Nimnicht:
In response to your request for a statement concerning the owner-
ship of the Yaneda House in St. Augustine and the availability of the
property as a donation to the Historic St. Augustine Preservation Board,
I submit the following:
At this moment ownership of the property is vested in St. Augustine
Restoration, Inc., which, however is in the process of exchanging this
property for another in the historic district which is owned by Mrs. C. D.
Towers of Jacksonville, Florida. Upon completion- of this exchange, Mrs.
C. D. Towers will be In a position to donate the property to the Historic
St. Augustine Preservation Board, contingent upon the availability to.the
Board of funds for the restoration of the house.

I trust that this information will be sufficient for your needs.
If further information is needed please let us know.
Sincerely,

John W. Griffin, Director
Historic St. Augustine
Preservation Board
