Riga Fromista was the daughter of Cayetano Fromista and Augustina
Arguelles, who were married here May 3. 1711.
Rita was sister Of Mrs. Diego Mexia of K-152, 1763 Puente.
Augustina Arguelles, Rita's mother, was born 1681, Index..
the daughter of Don Diego Arguelles and Maria Mendoza Canasaries
who were married in St. Augustine, May 21, 1674, Ph. 110.
They were No. 63 on the Ruined House list of 1702.
Diego Arguelles, Rita's grandfather, was born here 1652
the son of Capt. Don Jose Antonio Arguelles and Augustina
Crespo Rodriguez. He was brother of the senior Mrs. Lorenzo
Josef de Leon.
Capt. Arguelles was born in St. Augustine in 1620, married
here to Miss Crespo-Rodriguez 1641. They were No. 48 on the
Ruined House list of 1702. He was Rita's great grandfather.
Rita proceeded her husband in death, Burials: Dec. 6, 1751.
Isquidero married again in 1756, Bernarda Rodriguez, native.
There are twb listings in Fish for the Heirs of Isquidero.
No. 38, Jan. 6, 1777 and No. 107, April 1769, both going to
John Clark so he bought up the full property.
Moncrief naturally shows Fish there as he had not yet sold
for the Isquidero heirs.
In 1788 Batolome Llfrio, living at 158, owns also 159, having
bought it possibly at the same time he bought the St. George
Street properties. His land extended all the way back and over
to Treasury.
This was Bl. 20 1788 corresponding to "N* in 1763, Governor's
Block in the British Period, and No. 15 in Quesada 1790.
