V4400 SERIES: Heavy-duty lampholder for any medium base PAR/R lamp in
areas where maintenance-free operation is a must. Deep integrally-cast 360* "bell"
protects lamp, helps shield glare, prevent "spill". Open unit with patented
"Weather-Seal": locked-in silicone lamp gasket backed by durable heat barrier.
Enclosed vaportight unit with silicone-sealed screw-in heat-tempered lens and fully
gasketed arm for above-horizontal aiming in rain, snow, sleet. Open fixture used
outdoors must be aimed below horizontal, but accepts lens for field installation,
when necessary.

MERCURY VAPOR: V4400 series less lens (for below horizontal aiming) or with lens
(for all aiming positions) is ideal for 100W/175W mercury vapor applications when bal-
last is remotely located (see p. 49) or integral (see p. 11).
