Abstract: |
Original identification: (Pennell) Agalinis fasciculata (Ell.) Raf. Re-determination by Kent Perkins (KP) or J. Richard Abbott (JRA):! Agalinis fasciculata (Elliott) Raf. (Orobanchaceae, traditionally in Scrophulariaceae); Pennell was THE leading specialist with this group in his day. this genus contains several similar-looking species, so perhaps careful study of the specimen directly would revise my opinion, but this photo is entirely consistent with the name applied by Pennell, based on specimens in the FLAS herbarium |
