Abstract: |
Original Identification: 45 (Joseph Ewan) Ipomoea (probably) sinuata Ort.
45a - not a formal number, but Ewan's annotation calls this second (unlabelled) plant on this sheet Gaura Re-determination by Kent Perkins (KP) or J. Richard Abbott (JRA): 45 - Merremia dissecta (Jacq.) Hallier f. (Convolvulaceae); Ewan's name is a synonym
45a - nothing is specifically labelled with this number, except on Ewan's annotation label where he says 'on Gaura (45a).' the leafless stem to the right probably went with the fruits in the packet labelled as 'with #45.' this unlabelled plant is Gaura angustifolia Michx. (Onagraceae), based on the fruits in the packet (the packet also has leaves of the Merremia). |
