Abstract: |
Original identification: 30 - Sabbatia decandra (Walt.) Harper Re-determination by Kent Perkins (KP) or J. Richard Abbott (JRA): 30 - Sabatia bartramii Wilbur (Gentianaceae), another plant named after Bartram; Ewan's name, apart from the misspelled genus, has been determined to have been misapplied to this species, so it is not a direct synonym, even though it was once considered the valid name; the flowers have turned a yellowish color now, but in life they would have been bright pink with a yellow 'eye' in the middle
31 - completely missing; not even a silhouette to hint at what the plant might have been |
