Greetings
I am honored to be invited here
,** The work you do is so important
I have read the program that you have adopted
Glory in your spirit at undertaking it.
In a larger sense, or course, this is more than a battle for an
increased staff, or more parking spaces.*
It's more than an improvement program for First Methodist
It's a personal crusade. The real battle is for you
This is an engagement that began with Abraham
' As he responded to God's voice -- and command
This is Moses' Battle 41
To turn away from the security of his father-in-law's tents --
So that God's will would be done.
This is Jesus' battle, as he called on people to put away private
affairs and take up the cross and follow His will
We are all greately concerned because of Supreme Court ruling
Not because State won't teach Methodism
We are concerned because families are not the Christian influence they were
1. Partly because children are gone so much
2. Partly because parents are gone so much

3. Partly because the Bible is crowded out by TV and cheerleading
The long dinner hours are things or the past

** and inspired
obscene literature, gambling, carelessness, crime
