Not only because of interest in pools in our state
Number of pools in Florida has increased From 38 hundred
to 38 thousand in the last ten years

But because you are seeking to do for your industry what
Florida is seexing to do For the tourist 1ndu3try

You seek new standards of quality
in building specifications
in filtration systems

we Seek new atandards of quality
in the accommodations offered
in the genuine wannth of the welcome we extend
Interstate land sales committee

We share a common intwvwat - swimming

It is a Sign of Florida's growing affluence that even
though a seashore is no more than two hours drive from
any point in the state and the interior is dotted with
more than 30,000 named fresh water lakes, pools are in
some areas becoming an integral part of new homes as
they are constructed.

Your Florida member: and I share a COmmon regret.

We are convinced that Florida should be the swimming-est
state in Florida.

In Fort Lauderdale great emphasis is being placed

This will grow...soon we will be producing
Clymnic Champions with the frequency or California

And T am sure the program initiated by this
organization to encourage young swimmers will
help in this cause.
