Dear Mr. Bryant:

One of Virginia's oldest and nest manufacturers.
the Craddock Terry Shoe Corporation of Lynchhurg, Virginia. wishes
to make pairs of shoes for each of the Governors of the Southern
Governors' Conference as a gift from the Gammonwealth of Virginia.
I have been asked by the ofcials of this fine concern to get the length
and width of your feet.

When the measurements are received. Craddoclt
Terry will prepare some shoes according to the dimensions. The
company will send its Arkansas representative to Hot Sprian during
the Southern Governors' Conlerence to see that the shoes {it properly.
This representative will have with him the various samples of the
American Gentleman line so you can select the style and color shoes
you wish to receive. After the company has this information. the shoas
will be made and shipped to you at your home.

As I have said previously. Craddoclt Terry is a fine
old Virginia rm which ships its products to nearly every state in the
union. A large portion of its shoes. however. are distributed in the
Scuth.

Will you please send me the measurements as soon
as possible. The company ofcials are determined to see to it that
the finest possible t is obtained.
