Dear Governor Bryant,

At the annual February meeting of the Board of Directors -
Wesley Foundation. Florida State University last night
your name was presented by the Nominating Committee as a
candiate for membership on the Board as of this year. The
Board unanimously elected you and has asked that. on their
behalf. I write this letter of invitation to you.

As you may know, the Wesley Foundation endeavors to serve
2.200 Methodist students enrolled at Florida State
University through worship. study. recreation. and service
projects. Believe me. it is a tremendous challenge and
opportunity. and we want you to be a part of this work

by serving on our Board. The Board meets three times a
year to review the program and make recommendations to the
staff. The term of membership is for three years. with a
member being eligible for renomination for a second term
before mandatory rotation off the Board.

I realize you are extremely busy. but I also know some-
thing of your loyalty and contribution to the lethodist
Church and your genuine interest in its youth. We believe
you will be a real asset to our endeavor to challenge these
students to greater heights of Christian discipleship.

We would greatly appreciate your marking and signing the
enclosed card giving us your response to our invitation.
