BE IT RBSOEVED BY THE LEGISLATURE OP TEE SEATS OF FLORIDA:

Section 1. Thet the following eeendment to section 10 or ert-
icle XII of the Stete Constitution shell he submitted to the quali-
fied electors or the stete tor edoption or rejection et the genersl
election to be held in November, 195l:

Section 10. County school districts; hoerd members; tex.--

The legislature may provide for the division or en: county or
counties into convenient school districts; end for the levy end
collection or s district school tea, for the exclusive use or public
free schools within the district, whenever e majority or the quell-
ried electors thereof thst pey e tex on reel, or personel property
shell vote in fever of such levy; provided. thet eny tea euthorised
by this section shell not exceed ten (10) mills on the dollar in

eny one (1) year on the texehle property of the district. The office
of speciel tea school district trustee is ebolished end the county
boerds or public instruction shell here supervision or ell the schools
within the districts end shell exercise end perforn ell powers end

duties formerly vested in school district trustees.
