Dear Sir:

During your administration. at your request, the Florida
legislature authorized a substantial bond issue permitting
the jacksonville Expressway Authority to construct numer-
ous roads throughout Duval County. As a result there re-
cently was completed, in the Arlington section of Jackson-
ville. the fourlaning of two major roads, Arlington Road
and Rogero Road.

The Arlington Council of the Jacksonville Area Chamber of
Commerce is planning to have a road dedication within the
near future. They have requested me to contact you to see
if you can arrange your schedule to be in Jacksonville with-
in the next few months so that you could participate in this
dedication. The Arlington Council will arrange the dedica-
tion to fit your schedule. it has been suggested that there
he a breakfast meeting and then immediately thereafter

the dedication of the road.

1 would sincerely appreciate your advising me if it is possible
for you to participate in this dedication.
