This is to alert you to e. very important nesting, to be known
as the "Assembly on Intergovernmental Cooperation," vhieh will he held
at the Sheraton-Cleveland Hotel on December lhlS. It will imedistely
follow the Amusl Meeting of the Governing Bosrd or the Council or
State Governments, and will be hosted by Governor Jones A. Rhodes, the
Stste of Ohio and the City of Cleveland.
The subject matter will be geared to the work of several
importsnt study canittees or the Notional Governors' Conference end
will include such topics es: "Federal-Stote-Incnl Relations: here Do
We Stsndt";"1nterstste end Resioml Cooperation"; "Fined Peder-Ilium end
Intergovernmental Revenues'; "The State and Its Comities."
Delegates to the Assembly will include Governors, Members or
legislatures, Lieutenant Governors, Attorneys General, State Adoinistmtiw
Officisls -- also representation from the tedeml-micipsl-eounty levels
of government. In other words, every effort will be rude to sssuhle s
