ADVISORY COMMISSlON 0N INTERGOVERNMENTAL RELATIONS

WASHINGTON. QC. 20575

December 10, 1969

Honorable Farris Bryant

Bryant, Freeman. Richardson
and Vatson

711 Barnett Bank Building
Jacksonville, Florida 32208

Dear Governor:

The book on Urban America and the Federal
System came back from the printer and the press
release is enclosed. If there are any supplementary

quotes that you would like to make for inclusion on
page 2 of the release which in turn we would mail

to the Florida newspapers and radio and television
stations. let us know and we will splice them in.

we imagine that the report will get quite a lot of
publicity although as you know this is something
one can never predict. The report on State Aid to
local Government got a larger play than we had

expected but I suppose that can be attributable to
the fact that the word welfare these days is an
invitation to controversy.

Very best regards.
Sincerely yours,
W

Rm. 0. Colman
Executive Director
