The Honorable Ralph C. Anderson

Minority Leader, Utah House of Representatives
1430 Cheyenne Street

Salt Lake City. Utah. 84104

Dear Mr. Anderson:

I have your gracious letter of March 1. and appreciate your
thoughtfulness in writing it as I appreciated your courtesy in
presenting me to the Utah Legislature.

Please do not feel unduly disturbed by the circumstances of
that visit. I have experienced the slings and arrows of Legis-
lative life long and often enough not to let them trouble me.
and I was concerned only for what I knew must be your reac-
tion.

We had a great (by in Utah. 1 came away with the feeling that
we had established new understandings and new rapport with
the counterparts of our Federal officials. and I am confident
that will work to the good of Utah and the Nation.

I hope there will be some occasion for you to be in Washington
and that I will have a chance to visit with you then.

So rdially yours .
