Dear Mary:

Ae eoon ea 1 received your letter of February l3th
regarding Chrietopher I called General Herehey'e
office and they advieed me that in their Opinion your
eon ehould apply for Officer'e Training School. and
they felt with hie background and experience in ying
he would meet the requiremente of a pilot'e licenee
or perhape operation of helicopter-e.

1 then called officiale of the Air Force and they thought

he ehould apply to the neareet recruiting office ae pilot

and if he did not meet the requiremente due to hie 20/40
vieion he could meet the etandarde for navigator.

The recruitment officer of the Army gave me about the
eame information but they felt the condition might be
corrected where he would qualify for pilot'e licenee in
View of hie experience l outlined.
