Your note was delivered to me while at the Gonference, but it was at a time wheri I was involved in other matters and I stuck it in my pocket without opening it. When I did read it on the way back from Miselesippi, I realized then that you were expecting me before I left, and t11at was already too late.
I do hope you wt 11 be in Washington at same early date and that we can have a chance to visit.
