December 28. 1966

Mr. Robert Morgan
Industrial National Bank Building
Miami. Florida

Dear Bob:

I heard recently at the loss which you suered shortly before
Christmas. and Julia and I both want you to know that our

hearts go out to you. You have done so much in your lifetime
for others that we wish there were something we could do for

you at this time.

I had thought we might get to Miami for New Year's. and
particularly wanted to so that we could see you. but at the
moment my duties in Washith are rather confining.

Dr. Blee was with me until December 20 but. as you may have
read. he is now the President at the Junior College at Fort
Lauderdale. So. that leaves me without a Deputy on whom I
can rely when I am gone.

I hope you and Bess will take off from your constant labors and
spend a little while in Washington. If I knew when you were
going to be here I would have Julia come up and we could enjoy
visiting with you two as we have never really had a chance to do.

Our prayer is that the marvelous character which has caused you
to mean so much to others will enable you to {ind the reserves at
strength which I know you need now.

With warmest personal regards. I am

Mfectionately.

Farris Bryant
