Dear Jack:
if 1 ever have a campaign 1 want successfully promoted I know
the man to do it. The results you have achieved to date are
magnificent; your conduct of the meeting was peerless; the
enthusiasm a! your staff a great tribute to you.
i cannot express adequately my regret at not having been
present {or the reception. True you had all the better part in
having Julia there. but I nonetheless regret having missed it.
1 have filled in the pledge blank for tb [Ynited Fund and sent it
to Julia to deliver in the residential campaign. We are par-
ticipants both in Jacksonville and in Washington and proud to
share in each.
