that you will be ready to mnd or approve the minutes at the first

New hoard sewers will probably find it helpful to read these
minutes to become acquainted with the work of the Board.
The letter attached to the minutes is Dee's "good-bye" letter
to the Board. Reading it will not only give you an appreciation of
the quality of staff leadership which Deanna Edward: Burner has given
to the Wesley Foundation work. but it will also give insight into the
nature and depth of the work that goes on muong our students.
Miss Jane Stente arrived June 1 to work with Dee for a few weeks
before Jane assmses full responsibility for the area of work which
has been Dee's. We are most fortunate in having a person with Jane's
qualifications to join our staff.
At Annual Cmferenoe in Lakeland this past week. the Reverend
Richard England was appointed by the Bishop as our secmd minister
to word: with Austin at the Resley Foundation. Dick has been serving
at St. Paul's Hethodist Church in Tampa and comes with a great deal
of experience in student work and an unusual understanding of the
Hesley Foundation progm. Dick will arrive m Thursday of this
FMip Y week. His wife, Joan. and their two boys will be staying in Miami
with her family until the parsonage at 509 Wm street is ready
for them to move into. By the tin Dick and his fa-ily are settled
here. their third child should have arrived!
