Mr. Jimmy Kynes
Administrative Assistant
to the Governor

Tallahassee, Florida

Dear Jimmy:

Ybu and Peek are the greatest but I don't know
which one of you two is the greater.

But you both did a magnificent Job and I have al-
ready thanked Scotty and I want to take this
opportunity to thank you. The dinner would not have
turned out nearly as successfully as it did without
your strong right arm, good works and active
participation.

I thought the President did pretty well by the Governor.
I would have suggested a good deal more for him to

say but, frankly, this was the third time I have gotten
Kennedy to Florida and the first time I ever got him

to say a lot about me. He was very favorably impressed
with the Governor.

Looking forward to seeing you in Tallahassee soon, I am
