Say, Tribble I thought you might help me get
some information if you could on a personal friend
of mine. You notice this article in the Times Union

this morning about

I heard something about it Vance. But I haven't

read it.

well the thing is they are saying that some
influential perso connected with the gas company
told them that they would block them
getting any further work and I Just want to
know if you could tell me who this--since I know you
did some work for them on other heating Job-~I don't
know whether you did the job there or not, did you?

That's right.
Did you do the Job of Forrest Hill--the heating Job?
Yeah, that's right.

Well, would you have any idea what that gas company
is they are speaking of?

That was Central Florida Gas Corporation out of
Orlando.

If I remember right. It was Central Florida Gas
Corporation and they wanted to use gas
down in a deep place where air is and I refused
to do it. And as far as I am concerned I still refuse.
But I don't believe there is a word of truth to thaf
myself.

hell, I Just wordered --Just a second. Well, the
thing is there is a local gas company see and a

lot of the people here were implying that they were
probably connected with it and they want to be able
to clear their skirts of it.

Yeah. well the thing we were interested in

for this personal friend of mine was the fact
that they--he is connected with gas-~and some
people were implying that he was the person.
Actually they were in no position whatsoever to
be in connection with the gas because there is
a local piping system and they couldn't be
interested in it all see. And they want to get
some letter to clear their skirts from it.

It is not locally there at all. Now whether they

had anything to do I couldn't say but I know that

the communication that I had at the time was from

attorney by way of Internal Improvement Commission
for the Central Floris Gas Corporation. And as

I remember their office is in Orlando.

Hell I think that about answers the question--
hold on a second.

There was no intimation at that time that there
was any connection with the Ocala outfit at all.

Hell I am sure they were not because as I say
there is all pipe gas here in town and it would
be out of the question.

That's right-~this was bottled gas.

Yeah, a bottle gas corporation. 0. K. well
