Honorable C. Farris Bryant
M & C Bank Building
Ocala, Florida

Dear Farris:

I have talked with Sherman Heiss concerning the
matter you mentioned when I saw you in Tallahassee.
Sherman said he expects to talk with you shortly
and that he does not yet know definitely how any
Ion vould be needed from the School or Public Admin-
istration for full time service and consultation,
norishecertainoftheperiodoftimthsyuould
be needed. He seemed to think that one man with a
background in the general field of public adminis-
tration would be needed from the School of Public
Administration for a sixtyhday period.

I am inclined to think that considerably more assist-
ance than this in public administration will be
necessary if adequate service is to be provided the
ccmittees of the Legislature, and I an sure we could
provide more assistance than that if we have sufficient

tine for planning and rescheduling.

If yon will let us know When a final decision has been
nude concerning the assistance needed from us He will
do everything possible to provide it.

Best wishes.

S erely yours,

WON
