'HAT TELEVISION CHANNELS ARE ASSIGNED TO FLORIDA?
In the SIXTH ORMRANDREPORT oi the Federal Communications
Commission, some 58 television channels were assigned to cities
in the State of Florida. These assignments are shown in the table
on this page. Channels 2 through l3 are very high frequency [VHF]
stations, and I4 through 83 are for ultra high frequency [UHF]
stations.
Nine of Florida's channels were designated by the Federal Communic-
ations Commission as reserved for use by noncommercial, educational
stations. These are shown with an asterisk (') in the table.
