Roy Surles has called the meeting of the Legislative Council for Friday, November
19th, at i0¢00A.M in the Hollywood Beach Hotel. Some of the committee chair-
men have set meetings as iollows:
Thursday, 00 P.M. Conunittee on Education
Thursday, 6:00 P .M. -- Committee on Roads (Tentative)
Thursday, 7:00 P.M. -- Conmittee on Mongernent
Friday, 9:00 A.M. - Conmittee an Corrections
Friday, 10:00 A.M. - Council meeting
Iain thier has asked me to notify members of his Committee on Management of
themeetingat7:00P.M onThursday, andhehopesthatywwill beabletobe
present.
I went to Goinesville yesterday (I'll had considerable discussions with Rae Weimer.
The budget request of the Board of Control may not exactly coincide with the figures
we have in the report. but it is not mticipated that there will be any material
difference. We also ltd the opportunity of inspecting progress on the quarters for
the production center under the stadium. It looks a thoui they will be in operation
with their current facilities before the meetim of the Legislature.
Please let me know if you viii to hold a meeting of your Committee prior to the
Council meeting. Ray Surles was reluctant to release the T.V. report without prior
Council approval in the light of precedent enablished by the Council. We will
bring a sufficient miter of copies of the report tor distribution at the Costco: as soon
as the Council approves. if you have my further Instructions, please let me know.
