Reguests for Special TV Units:

1. Units must be requested by the county superintendent of
public instruction, similarly to special units under the current
minim foundation program.

Use of §pecial TV Units: these funds may be used as follows:
1. To pay production costs of Educational Television Programs.

2. To pay for training courses in the production of Educational
hhvision programs .

3. To pay salary of a director of Educational Television
Programs.

Allotment of §Ecial TV Units:
1. Alloted to each county in a TV signal area.

2. Alloted on the basis of up to one (1)8PBCIAL TV 031! for
each regular instructional unit used during the previous
fiscal year.

3. Each SPECIAL TV UNIT will be vortn ten dollars ($10.00),
and not be matched by the county on the same percentage
basis as regular instructional units under the current
minim foundation prom.

Administration of gecial TV Units:

Joint Countz Use of mm TV Units:

Within given TV signal areas, the various counties will be
outraged to cooperate and form one operating organization for
the production of Educational Program and for setting up train-
ing courses covaring the same.

form such an organization as outlined above, an extra 10$ 0:
SPEIAL TV UNITS will be made available to the counties in the
area, on a prorated basis provided, however, any county booming
a part or a cooperative organization will be required to give at
least one year's notice before vithdraving has such organization.
