House Bill No. 408. This bill unende section
440.27, Florida Stctutes, eo cs to provide thnt lppoall
from orders of'tbe Industrial Commission in connection
with the Iorknen'e compensation lee lie direct to the
Supreme court. Section 440.27, Floridl Ststutea, now
provides thct the appeal shall be heard by the circuit
court. Inasmuch as lppedls of this nature to the cir-
cuit court are generally csrried on up to the supreme
Court, the circuit court, on on intermodiete step, is
merely an sdditionsl burden as to time and expense for
all perties concerned. This bill, if paaeed, will re-
duce the time involved in litigation of thie type.
