House Bill No. 402 amends Section 46.09, Florida
Statutes, 1951, by permiting the Joinder of suits for
personal body injury to a child with any action for
damages such child's parents or guardian may have in
connection with the same accident against the same par-
ties. The purpose or this bill 13 to reduce as much as
possible the number of trials of similar causes against
the some party and yet not prejudice the rights or the
parties involved. This bill, it passed, will minimize
court costs in litigations or this nature. It is merely
an extension or Section 46.09, Florida Statutes, 1951,
relating to similar joinder of husband and wire and which
has been followed in the state for many years.
