TO BE ENTITLED
AN ACT TO PROVIDE ma ms INCLUSION (F COSTS
IN ALL FINES ASSESSED AGAINST PERSONS CONVICTED
0F CRIMES IN ANY COURT OF THE STATE, AND PRO-
VIDING THAT THE STERIFF SHALL HAVE THE DUTY OF
COLLECTING ALL FINiS 45353520 IN ANY CRIMINAL CASE.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATIRE OF THE STATE OF FLORIDA:
Section. 1. Cost craygcable easinst any person
convicted of a crime in any court of this state shall not be
assessed against, or paid as a seperate item or items by,
such person, but the apprOXimate amount thereof shall be
included in a lump sum fine assessed against such person
by the Judge.
Section 2. It shall be the duty of the sheriffs
of the various counties to collect all such fines asscsaed
by any Judge in accordance with Section 1 hereof, and to
remit some to the fine and forfeiture fund of the cou'ty
as provided by law.
Section 3. All laws and parts of laws in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed.
Section b. This act shall be effective on October
1. 1953.
